Nyoka Wotorson

Nyoka Wotorson (she/her) is from New York City. Nyoka began dancing at three years old, and continued at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School where she studied as a dance major for four years in 2016. Nyoka joined MOVE|NYC| and the Ballet Hispánico School in her junior year and then attended The Juilliard School under the direction of Alicia Graf Mack. Nyoka has studied internationally and in the U.S.A, performing works by Ohad Naharin, Hofesh Shechter, Dimo Milev, and many more. Nyoka enjoyed participating in student life at Juilliard as an Orientation Leader, a Diversity Advocate, and a member of the Black Student Union. Nyoka would like to thank her mother for cultivating an environment where she felt safe to pursue her dreams and for always being her biggest supporter.
