Tyrone Reese

Tyrone Reese (he/him) is a native of Mobile, AL, and primarily trained at the Alabama School of Fine Arts under the direction of Wes Chapman and Mobile Ballet under the direction of Katia Garza. He has attended the summer programs of Alabama Ballet and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. He won the 2020 Houston Youth America Grand Prix award and was a 2020 YoungArts award winner in ballet. While at Juilliard, he has performed works by Rena Butler, Justin Peck, Ohad Naharin, Aszure Barton, and Jamar Roberts, amongst others. He is also the recipient of Juilliard’s Greene Foundation scholarship. Tyrone is grateful for the community of artists he has met and is eager to begin shaping the world through art.
